How to play
Easy to learn. Hard to bluff.

Set up the game
Add the players, pick a category and choose how many imposters are hiding among you.
Reveal your role
Each player secretly checks the phone. Everyone sees the same secret word – except the imposter, who only gets a hint (if enabled).
Talk, then vote
Take turns describing the word without saying it. Then vote on who you think is the imposter. Caught? Crew wins. Not caught? Imposter wins!

Is Imposter free?
The app is free to download and play, and includes ads. An optional Premium subscription or purchase unlocks additional word packs and other extras. Pricing is shown in the app before you buy.
How many players do I need?
From 3 to 15 players sharing one device.
Do I need an internet connection?
Core gameplay is designed for a single shared phone. Some features such as ads, purchases, analytics and custom word pack creation need an internet connection.
Is it suitable for children?
Imposter is intended for teens and adults. Some word packs (such as "Spicy") may contain mature humor. The app is not directed to children under 13. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID / App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See our Terms & Conditions for details.
