Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Vertebro LTD ("we", "us") regarding your use of the Imposter – Find the Spy mobile app (the "App") and this website (the "Site"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Some word packs may contain mature humor and are intended for teens and adults.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, rent, sublicense or create derivative works of the App, except where the law expressly allows.

If you download the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Apple Media Services Terms, which apply in addition to these Terms. Apple is not responsible for the App or its support.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App unlawfully; interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers; attempt to gain unauthorised access; use bots or automated means; circumvent ads, paywalls or security measures; or use the App to harass, harm or deceive others outside the context of the game.

4. Content & custom word packs

You may enter text such as player names and custom word pack prompts. You are responsible for that content and must not submit anything unlawful, hateful, infringing or that contains personal data of others. Custom packs are generated using third-party AI technology. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, unexpected or offensive, and we do not guarantee its quality or suitability. Word lists are provided for entertainment only.

5. Purchases & subscriptions

The App is free to download. We may offer optional paid features, including auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchases ("Premium"). Prices and terms are shown in the App before purchase.

• Payment: charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing / cancelling: go to your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials & intro offers: if offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds: all purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple's policies and your local consumer rights.
• Price changes: we may change prices; where required, you will be notified and given the chance to accept or cancel.

6. Advertising

The free version of the App displays third-party advertisements, including interstitial ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or websites they link to. Please see our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

7. Intellectual property

The App, Site, artwork, characters, word lists, text, logos and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. "Imposter" is used as a descriptive game name; other names and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

8. Disclaimers

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Vertebro LTD's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under such mandatory law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept them.
